summer holiday

How has your summer holiday been so far?  I've had a great time with my children - we went camping and slept on a helicopter!  I got to sit in the pilot's seat!  I had a day on the beach and helped my daughters build a sand castle with a deep moat running around it.  What's been the best thing about your summer holiday?

  1. I went on a boat trip yesterday to Hampton Court and we had a picnic with nanny and grandad. Next we are going to a theme park for another day out !

  3. I went on a long car drive to Pembrokeshire in Wales. I went to a B&B which is exciting because I am reading about a B&B in a book by Jacqueline Wilson. The B&B had a big breakfast table and a play area. Then we went to a campsite and I made lots of friends. There was a farm around the corner. Our tent was next to the park. We went to the beach and I made a sandcastle too! The best thing about my holiday was playing mysteries with my friends at the park. See you soon, Maddie Everard

  4. Wow Maddie, sounds like you're having a great summer! Can you tell me how to play mysteries when we get back to school? Hope you enjoy the last week of your holidays!

  5. My favourite part was when we went to Portugal we made two friends, we went on a speed boat and saw dolphins, we also went on a gecko hunt and found 50 geckos!
We also went to Lyme Regis and found 50 ammonite fossils on the beach.

    1. I would love to see a fossil Yasmin, can you bring one next week for show and tell? Also, do you have any photos of the geckos you saw?

  6. In the holidays I went to the beach. It was on the South Coast of NSW in Australia. I saw some people playing volleyball and I swam in the waves.

    1. That sounds a lot more exotic than my campsite, Brianna! When I went to the beach it was a hot day, but the seas around Britain are always cold! :-)
